Souq Al Jubail Welcomes Government Delegation from Guinea-Bissau

Sooq Al Jubail in Sharjah welcomed a government delegation from the Republic of Guinea-Bissau as part of an official visit aimed at exploring the best operational and administrative practices implemented at Sooq Al Jubail. The visit also focused on understanding the work mechanisms of various departments, especially the fish section, and fostering the exchange of successful ideas and practices between both sides.

The delegation was received by Eng. Abdalla Al Shamsi - Manager - Sharjah Region Markets, The delegation included H.E. Mr. Mário Moussa N’Tchama da Silva Loureiro, Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Economy; H.E. Mr. Moutaro Djalo, First Minister and Special Advisor to the Prime Minister; H.E. Mr. Carlos Nelson Sano, Deputy Minister and Director General of Maritime Surveillance (FISCAP) at the Ministry of Fisheries; and Mr. Mamadou Uor, Director General of UTAL Company.

Al Shamsi welcomed the Guinean delegation and accompanied them on a comprehensive field tour of the market facilities. During the tour, he provided a detailed explanation of the market’s operations and services, as well as the health inspection procedures and administrative systems implemented to ensure product quality and safety.
