The original VISS campus at Al Taawun was established in 2007 by The Ruler of Sharjah,His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, in conjunction with the State of Victoria, in Australia with the intention of creating a world class school in the emirate of Sharjah. With the expansion of the VISS Group into six new campuses spread across the emirate of Sharjah, with the support of Sharjah Asset Management Group (SAM) we are proud to be able to expand the mission of providing world class education to a wider area in the coming years.

The school uses the Australian Early Years Framework, the Australian Curriculum (Victorian version) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program as its curriculum frameworks.
