The Sharjah Livestock Market, a project of Sharjah Asset Management Company, the investment arm of the Government of Sharjah, is known as one of the Emirate’s most influential and prominent vital projects. Aspiring to meet the needs of the residents and visitors to the Emirate of Sharjah, the livestock market contributes to ensuring sustainable well-being and promoting substantial economic and social development in Sharjah.

Sharjah Livestock Market:

Eng. Abdalla Al Shamsi, manager of the Sharjah Livestock Market, said: “Sharjah Livestock Market was relaunched in 2021, in accordance with directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. His Highness’ vision was to establish facilities that contribute to the provision of commercial and consumer services aimed at improving the urban community, and to meet the needs of our citizens and residents. The company’s operational and strategic plan is to continue developing new projects, services, mechanisms, and procedures, to help further enrich the Emirate of Sharjah and improve quality of life, transforming it into a global tourist destination.”

Kalba Livestock Market:

Al Shamsi added: “After the success seen at Sharjah Livestock Market in Al Sajaa Industrial area in attracting a large segment of consumers and livestock traders since its opening, the market has effectively risen to a prominent position at both the local and regional levels, branding itself as one of the most important livestock markets in the Emirate and the region. The livestock market in Kalba, which spans an area of 20,740 square meters, opened its doors to guests recently but has quickly gained popularity with customers.
