Saeed Sharar: Emirati Womenan Day celebrates the vital role and achievements of Emirati women across society

Saeed Sharar, COO – Osool Services of Sharjah Asset Management, the investment arm of the Government of Sharjah, said: “Emirati Women’s Day is an opportunity to celebrate and be proud of the pioneering role Emirati women have played in the prosperity of our country, and the role models they are to women across the world.”

Sharar added that this year’s Emirati Women’s Day slogan, “an inspiring reality, a sustainable future, ” confirms the permanence of the path and achievement. Directed by H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, the slogan highlights the role of Emirati women who achieve continuous success and maintain the path of excellence and creativity.

Sharar explained that Sharjah Asset Management has always supported female team members in their careers by nurturing talent and encouraging ambition.

This has led to more women entering leadership positions and achieving success. Currently, women hold 19% of leadership roles within the company, and the number of national workers, including female employees and administrators, has reached 47%.
