Souq Al Jubail, affiliated with Sharjah Asset Management Company, the investment arm of the Government of Sharjah, announced that it received 422,000 visitors during the holy month of Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr. The popularity is due to the quality and integrated services the market provides to its customers, offering various products and fresh food supplies under one roof, divided into three main sections: fruit and vegetables, fish and meat.Talal Mohamed, Director of Souq Al Jubail, said: “During Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr, Souq Al Jubail witnessed a great and distinguished turnout from various segments of society, which is due to the high-quality products provided by the market. Within the modern facilities of the market, it is easier for consumers to bring their families along, make purchases quickly and easily, which saves time and effort, and provides services to the highest standards.”He added: “The market management is keen to develop the work and services provided in the market.
This will be achieved by following up on feedback and continuing to add new and quality services to meet the ongoing needs of visitors, thus enhancing the position of Souq Al Jubail as a vibrant shopping and attractive entertainment destination.”Market facilities:Souq Al Jubail contains 260 shops distributed over three sections, namely, the vegetables and fruits section, 160 shops, of which 40 are dates shops, the meat section, which includes 50 shops, and the fresh fish section consists of 40 shops, in addition to the barbecue section, and two areas for preparing fish. The market employs more than 140 employees per day to meet customers’ requests for this service at nominal prices. Visitors are welcomed from Saturday to Thursday, 08:00 until 10:00. On Friday, Souq Al Jubail in Sharjah opens from 07:00 until 11:30, closes for the Friday prayer, and opens again from 13:00 until 22:00.
